Instructor History

 

Bruce Allemann started his Aikido career while studying in Grahamstown in 1986. Bruce Sensei obtained his Shodan in 1994 from Mathew Holland Sensei and his Sandan in 2002 from Giorgio Veneri Sensei. He is a certified AFSA Fukushidoin and member of the AFSA Technical committee.

Anne Allemann started her Aikido while studying in Grahamstown in 1986. Anne Sensei obtained her Shodan in 1997 from Giorgio Veneri Sensei. Anne and Bruce met through Aikido and were married in 1993 the have two daughters Sarah and Gemma.

Venue

Our mat is 40 m2 and there are full length mirrors on two sides. The venue has changing rooms, showers, ample ventilation and parking and security.

The Body Wise Aerobics and Fitness Health Studio has training equipment in the same venue and offers several other activities. Membership of the gym is optional.

FishHoek Aikido Club was founded by Sensei Bruce Allemann then Shodan (1st Dan). A solid core of committed students train regularly.
